Event Promotion
Hosting an event at TRI? We can help you promote it to TRI members via our range of physical and digital communications channels. There are competing events every week at TRI, so we can't guarantee attendance to your event, but we can help you get the word out to our audience. We also advise you to invite your own networks and seek guests via other methods to compliment our promotional campaigns.
Catering
We work with a handful of companies who know where we are, the facilities available and the unique challenges of catering an event at the TRI. You're welcome to use your own catering, or choose from one of our previous suppliers.
> Ask for a list of catering contacts when you make your booking
Parking Permit
We have a limited number of carparks available for visitor use, these can be booked via the form or by visiting reception.

Science Poster Templates
Some of you told us that Powerpoint just wasn't enough for poster design, but you don't have access to design tools like Adobe InDesign. We created these basic Google Docs poster templates using their Google Presentations and Drawing tools. Accessible from anywhere in the world, on any computer or digital device, these templates make poster collaboration easy with sharing and permissions managed by Google. If you use Gmail or a Google account, you will be able to save these templates to your own Google Drive and edit them as you need.

Media
Excited about a recent discovery and looking to engage the media? We encourage the promotion of your work through inviting journalists for lab tours and interviews. We ask that you follow safety protocols and seek approval for lab visits so a quick induction can be arranged. You should start by letting your Institute's Communications Team know first, as well as keeping our team in the loop to ensure we can support your media exposure.
Video and Photography
Our team are equipped with the latest camera and video equipment to capture footage, stills and audio. We are available to turn your next event or training session into a digital record to share online and promote your work or business area. Reception
Please contact Reception for the purchase of coffee pods, visitor parking applications, or assistance with meeting room bookings.
Website
The TRI Website and Intranet are important business tools to be used for promotion of work conducted at TRI. Our new website is due to launch in a couple of months time and will provide each business unit the opportunity to deliver professional, comprehensive marketing information to drive engagement, create new opportunities, and share information. It is critical that what is published in these domains is current and in line with the TRI brand and our vision.
If you have a new case study, an event, new equipment or service you would like to showcase online, please let us know. Additional page content will all be managed by the Marketing team once the new website goes live. After this time, any changes or updates or new pages will need to be briefed and executed by comms and marketing staff.
Social Media
We feature your events, news and activities on our social media channels and will share your translational research related posters and scientific achievements to help you amplify your message.
Building Tours
Visitors to the building must comply with all WHS requirements. This means maximum group sizes and inductions for entry into lab areas. Please contact us to discuss your building tour plans before getting started.
