Nominations are now open for the 2024 OneTRI Awards!
The awards recognise researchers, students, professional and operational employees from TRI's partners, corporate staff and commercial entities who exemplify our values. The TRI Shared Leadership Committee (SLC) has decided on six award categories reflecting our 2023-2033 Next Decade Strategic Focus. Nominations are welcome for either a person or a team:
1. OneTRI Award
2. OneTRI Unsung Hero Award
3. Connecting with the Clinic Award
4. Discovery Platforms Award
5. Developing and/or Manufacturing Diagnostics and Therapeutics Award
6. Clinical Trial and Industry Growth Award
Please nominate colleagues and TRI collaborators who have consistently exemplified the TRI values and contributed to research excellence in the past 12 months. Please consider the specific criteria provided for each category outlined below in your nominations.
Category 1: OneTRI Award
The nominee (an individual or team) has:
- encouraged a culture of excellence in partnering and collaborating at TRI.
- contributed to creating a positive and welcoming workplace.
- exemplified the TRI values of Leadership, Integrity, Knowledge, Excellence and Collaboration.
The nominee (an individual or team) has:
- espoused the philosophy of OneTRI.
- demonstrated excellence in support of research and TRI activities which is significantly above that considered as a function of their substantive role(s).
- demonstrated leadership and excellence in support of research and other activities undertaken at TRI.

Category 3: Connecting with the Clinic Award
The nominee (an individual or team) has:
- led collaborations between TRI-based researchers and TRI’s health care partners.
- demonstrated direct outcomes from the collaborations, highlighted through specific examples.
- demonstrated evidence of impact (including training, supervision, presentations, publications, partnerships and/or in implementation).

Category 4: Discovery Platforms Award
The nominee (an individual or team) has:
- implemented novel technologies (or novel approaches to the use of technologies) based at TRI to enhance research.
- demonstrated evidence of the activities and outputs generated by the initiative (including direct research outcomes, supervision, collaborations, publications and/or implementation).
- demonstrated the impact of the contribution locally, nationally, and/or globally.

Category 5: Developing and/or Manufacturing Diagnostics and Therapeutics Award
The nominee (an individual or team) has:
- contributed to the development of a novel diagnostic or therapeutic.
- demonstrated how the program has progressed from earlier completed research.
- demonstrated evidence of investment and/or recognition from the developing and/or manufacturing the diagnostic or therapeutic.

Category 6: Clinical Trial and Industry Growth Award
The nominee (an individual or team) has:
- enhanced the approach taken to clinical trial activity either investigator initiated or industry trials and/or encouraged industry support linked to TRI-based research.
- demonstrated stages which led to the development of the clinical trial and/or industry links.
- demonstrated the impact and outcome of the clinical trial and/or industry links.
