Due to open in 2025, TRI’s Translational Manufacturing facility will provide the necessary infrastructure to enable medtech and biotech businesses to expand and manufacture at scale on Australian shores. Combined with Queensland Government incentives, it will attract a range of industry, from local start-ups and SMEs to international biomedical corporations, delivering the first Australian facility to provide open access GMP production facilities.

In October 2023 more than 80 national and international AusBiotech delegates visited TRI as part of a Boggo Road Innovation Precinct tour. Join them as they explore TRI’s world-class facilities and get a sneak preview of our Translational Manufacturing @TRI site, designed to accommodate biotech companies wanting to scale up right here in Queensland. Opening in 2025, this new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility will provide infrastructure, support and services, and make TRI the only facility of its kind in Australia.
