BRF Update Jan 22

I hope the year has gotten off to a good start, though of course the global pandemic has been a key feature!

We do have a number of team members affected by COVID-19 requirements and we are managing the situation on a day-to-day basis like many other teams. If we anticipate that we cannot provide a service we will provide updates to anyone affected. If anyone is unable to perform animal work and needs last-minute support due to isolation requirements please let us know and we will do our best to assist.

ARC orders

I have been advised that due to WA’s border closers there have been delays and disruptions to flights, and subsequently animal shipments, which are likely to continue for several weeks. The UQBR team have kept affected labs (who have animal orders pending) updated but if you have any queries or concerns please let us know.

Mandatory Annual reports – Mosaic update

The attached newsletter has a number of Mosaic updates, including:

- Mandatory Annual reporting

- Reporting by age/genotypes  

- Strain names in MyResearch

NSG-A2 mice - available

We have a lab with 11 spare male NSG-A2 mice (DOB ranging from 11^th Oct to 4^th Nov). Please email [email protected] by Monday 17^th Jan if you are able to utilise these animals.
