Fiona Simpson is a Diamantina Intitute group leader and has held grants and fellowships from external funding sources for 20 years. In a climate of increasingly tight government funds for research the skill to draw in money from external sources is invaluable. Fiona is engaging and enthusiastic and never shy to share her advice and insights with ECRs, so make sure you come along and learn from one of the true survivors of funding drought!
