translational technical fair
The TRI Technical Fair will highlight translational projects and interesting research techniques in a collection of technical posters as a way of showcasing work between the institute partners.
If you are submitting a poster, please read the information below or check with your supervisor. To view the work, please visit the Atrium between 10am and 1pm on the 29th July.
For Research Groups
We would like to invite you and your group to take part in the Translational Technical Fair to showcase cutting edge techniques used at TRI.
This will be a great resource and opportunity for everyone and will provide the ideal basis for future collaborations.
Some of the cutting edge techniques we currently have onboard include -
- 3D spheroids – learn how to culture cells in three dimensions
- Human single cell TCR profiling – a technique you may want to adopt for functional studies, antigen discovery and therapeutic applications
- FUCCI (Fluorescent ubiquitination-based cell cycle indicator) - a technology to easily determine stages of cell cycling in living cells using fluorescent markers
- IgA bacteria labelling – an approach to interrogate the interaction between the immune system and gut microbiota
