TRI Foundation Travel Sponsorships
The TRI Foundation Sponsorship awards are designed to offer students and early career researchers support for their ongoing career development. This includes the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally for activities that facilitate career development, such as attending or presenting at conferences. Applicants are required to demonstrate how travelling to the location of these events can assist their careers in other ways, such as networking opportunities and visiting other institutes in the same location to make connections with researchers in your field.
Applications are invited from enrolled students and early career researchers based primarily at the Translational Research Institute who wish to travel for career development purposes.
Successful applicants will receive awards up to the value of:
- $2500 for overseas travel opportunities (up to 2 grants per round); and
- $1500 for Australia and New Zealand-based travel opportunities (up to 7 grants per round).
