Animal Technicans Week – animal for adoption and bake sale

Come join us in a celebration of the hard work and dedication of our research animal carers! The UQBR TRI BRF team will be hosting pet animals for adoption from Happy Tails Animal Rescue – a not for profit, no-kill animal rescue charity dedicated to helping animals in need across Australia. A bake sale will be running concurrently to raise funds for Happy Tails.

Happy Tails Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit, no-kill animal rescue charity based in South-East QLD; however, dedicated to helping animals in need Australia-wide! We are run by an extremely dedicated team of coordinators as well as an abundance of wonderful volunteers and foster carers. We work with AWLQ, RSPCA, local pounds and private surrenders, to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need. Our passion is the special needs animals that seem to be overlooked by other rescues. We place all our animals in loving, approved foster homes where they will get the best care while they wait for their forever homes. We provide all vet and behavioural work required to ensure our animals are happy, healthy and ready to be a part of a family. Happy Tails relies completely on donations and the hard work of volunteers, without both of these things we could simply not change the lives of the animals in our care and find them their Happy Tail.
