Institute for Molecular Biosciences at The University of Queensland

2015 Brisbane Cell and Developmental Biology Meeting

Brought to you by the Australia and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology Inc, the Brisbane Cell and Developmental Biology Meeting is held at the Institute for Molecular Biosciences at The University of Queensland in October.

TRI based UQ researcher Dr Fiona Simpson and Dr Suyinn Chong from Mater Research will be presenting. Abstract submissions are open to TRI based students.

This conference is an excellent opportunity to highlight the exciting work of Australia’s young cell and developmental biologists, with oral and poster presentations by postgraduate students (PhD and Honours) and postdocs complementing presentations by senior researchers. The meeting represents one of the few opportunities for junior scientists to share the podium with more established researchers.  The meeting has a relaxed and informal atmosphere that encourages all those attending  to exchange ideas and develop useful contacts.
