Exploring the β-cube and X-cube - system overview and applications

TRI recently purchased a new preclinical Position Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography (PET-CT) system; the Molecubes β-cube and X-cube. This is a high performance, high throughput, and state-of-the art PET-CT system, designed for use with small laboratory animals.

Common PET-CT applications include tumour imaging, glucose metabolism, and bio-distribution of novel radiotracers. Common CT applications include assessment of osteogenesis, calcification of biomaterials, osteoporosis, and bone healing in bone defect models.
