PA Research Foundation 2019 Research Awards now open
The 2019 Research Awards are now open for Expression of Interest applications. The Awards support innovative research into deadly and debilitating disease at the PA Hospital Campus.
The 2019 Research Awards will be distributed to clinically lead, collaborative teams and be provided in these specific areas directed by the PA Foundation donors: breast cancer, skin cancer and prostate cancer. In addition, funds will be allocated to projects in other cancer and other health & disease categories. The awards are open to the PAH Campus including the TRI building.
For the 2019 calendar year, PARF will award:
- An unspecified number of one year grants valued at $100,000 per grant.
- Research Excellence Award: $350,000 over three years, across any of the research categories.
The research awards also aim to support and foster young and upcoming researchers with the mandatory inclusion of a new researcher on collaborative project teams.
