2015 MENTORING MASHUP

To wrap up a successful 2015 and lead us into a new year, the TRI Mentoring & Development Committee would like to invite you to attend a free mentoring workshop hosted by Jodee Allanson, Organisational Development Consultant from The University of Queensland.

Mentors and mentees are invited to this interactive workshop where you will learn techniques for networking and personal development, get advice on selecting and approaching a mentor and be guided on the development of an effective mentor relationship. Discussion on mentor responsibilities and mentor training will also be provided.

Speaker presentations, group discussions and speed mentoring will make up this workshop, open to all TRI members. You will learn how to build connections which will help you throughout your career well into the future. About Workshop Facilitator Jodee Allanson 

Jodee Allanson is an Organisational Psychologist, who has been practicing in the field for over 20 years and is an endorsed supervisor for new psychology registrants. Jodee has worked in a number of industries including health, education, road and rail transport, sport and recreation, primary industries, public administration and allied health. In these industries Jodee has worked in the public sector, consultancy, non-profit and tertiary sector.

Jodee has also presented at numerous national and international conferences on a range of organisational psychology, leadership and organisational development areas. Jodee holds two positions at the University of Queensland in Organisational Development and School of Psychology. She is currently supporting postgraduates interns working in the non-profit sector as a senior psychologist and supervisor.

Jodee loves travel, health and wellbeing, actively practices yoga and meditation and is a trained teacher in both areas.
