Announcing the Launch of the 2016 Mater Research Mentoring Program
Mater Research strives to be at the forefront in both research output and support of its people.
Following the success of our Mentoring program last year, we would like to offer you the opportunity to enhance your skills at a workshop as part of our mentoring program renewal. The aim of our program is to provide an environment that fosters personal and professional growth at Mater Research through sharing of information, skills and experiences.
Our goals for this program include:
- Maximising your career success,
- Boosting staff confidence, self-awareness and leadership potential,
- Helping you build resilient and productive professional relationships,
- Fostering a secure, respectful and supportive workplace environment at Mater Research.
Having reviewed the Mater Research Mentoring Program run in 2015 we have honed the design of these sessions to provide maximum benefit to both Mentees and Mentors in a contained timeframe.
We will be conducting training for all research staff on Wednesday 13 July and Thursday 14 July 2016. For new employees, that will involve an ‘Introduction training session’ on Wednesday 13 July in addition to the relevant mentee or mentor skills training session as listed in table below.
