Winners of the AusHSI Knowledge Translation Workshop Registrations

The My Translation Rules initiative is designed to inspire translational research from within clinical practice, supported by the Brisbane Diamantina Health Partners and driven by clinician researcher Dr Ingrid Hickman and team. The program runs all year, with training and workshops designed to prepare clinicians to submit an entry for the awards held in November. 

Within the overall program, a series of workshops and professional development packages are produced throughout the year to encourage and educate those clinicians interested in conducting research projects.

There were 2 lucky winners of the 3 day workshop, Clare Kreis APD and Tayla Robertson APD, for projects which are driven by evidence based nutritional improvements in healthcare. These clinicians are working on  projects which they are planning to submit for the MTR Awards in 2017.  It is a great opportunity for them to further expand their knowledge of translating research into evidence following the professional development package provided by MTR.

There were some other fantastic entries that we hope were inspired by the MTR initiative!  A big thank-you to BDHP, who sponsored these workshops as part of their Strategic Initiative Grant Scheme.
