2018 ASMR Queensland Health & Medical Research Awards are now open
The Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR) have opened the 2018 Queensland Health & Medical Research Awards. These awards are an initiative of the ASMR and are held annually to recognise excellence in all areas of health-related research performed in Queensland. The ASMR Queensland Health and Medical Research Awards are proudly sponsored by the Queensland Government and will be announced at TRI on the 25th of May.
Awards are given in the following categories:
1. Postgraduate Student Researcher Award
Eligibility: enrolled students or recent graduates no more than one year since degree conferral.
Prize - winner $1000
2. Early-Career Researcher Award
Eligibility: more than twelve months but no more than five years (inclusive) of completing their higher degree.
Prize - winner $2000
3. Mid-Career Researcher Award
Eligibility: more than five years but no more than twelve years (inclusive) of completing a higher degree.
Prize - winner $3000
4. Clinical Researcher Award
Eligibility: a clinician or allied health professional within ten years (inclusive) of completing their highest degree/specialist qualification.
Prize - winner $3000
Application Deadline: Tuesday 3rd April 2018 (midnight)
