Medicine and Architecture: The Living and Working Environments of Brisbane Doctors
Presented by Dr Stephen Long, Director, Architectus
The climate of SE Queensland facilitates a closer engagement between the natural environment and the designed environment. Open-air living spaces can be connected to the urban landscape by maximising access to natural light, ventilation and gardens.
In this presentation, Dr Stephen Long, architect and director of Architectus, will consider the design principles that define our living and working environments. He will reflect on our current homes and hospitals and imagine how they may change over the next 50 years.
