We invite you to witness the official opening of TRI; a major milestone in the history of medical research in Australia.  On Thursday 10 October, the Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO officially announced the building open.

Just a few days later, TRI opened its doors on 12 and 13 October to the public as part of this year’s Brisbane Open House.  Playing host to over 650 people, we packed the weekend with lab experiences, DNA extractions, ‘Science 101’ presentations, a Q&A with TRI architects and a Café Scientifique.  Don't forget to check out our Brisbane Open House Facebook photo album for more pix of the weekend event.
