An Australian first, Translational Research Institute (TRI), is a new multi-partner biomedical research enterprise, developing novel interventions to prevent and treat human disease. TRI brings together leading researchers from several existing institutes focused on translating biomedical research into practical outcomes for patients.

Due to continuous growth, TRI is seeking an experienced Online Coordinator to develop, publish and manage content for its online, digital and multimedia platforms. Success in the role will be determined by achieving a seamless integration of the online component into the TRI communication strategy.
Reporting to the Communications and Marketing Director, this role will:

  • Plan and implement the tactical execution of TRI social media strategy, ensuring content supports the overarching brand focus and strategic direction;
  • Ensure regular engagement and connection with internal and external audiences via effective, relevant and timely activity and content across online platforms; and
  • Monitor the changing online media landscape, identifying new techniques, practices and opportunities for potential TRI engagement.

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role. As this role is part-time, flexibility and effective prioritisation skills will assist in achieving overall outcomes.
