The role of skin microbiota on cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma

The effect of immune suppression on skin microbiota dysbiosis

About me

Burhan Khan works in the Frazer laboratory at the UQ Diamantina Institute. He is also a medical student in the UQ Faculty of Medicine-Ochsner Clinical School. He has completed NIH research training fellowships in both viral and bacterial pathogenesis at the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases (USA). Mr Khan’s research interests surround host-pathogen interactions resulting in acute and chronic disease. Currently, his research in the Frazer laboratory relates to skin microbiota and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma.
