Due to open in 2026, TRI’s Translational Manufacturing facility will provide the necessary infrastructure to enable MedTech and BioTech businesses to mature and scale-up their manufacturing on Australian shores. It will attract a range of industry, from local start-ups and SMEs to international biomedical companies, delivering the first Australian facility to provide access to cGMP facilities.

A new state of the art biomedical hub for Australia
TRI’s Translational Manufacturing facility (TM@TRI) will provide infrastructure, support and services at a greater scale to allow the start‐up companies born from local research discoveries to expand into scale‐up spaces.
