The TRI Poster Symposium is run almost entirely by students based at TRI, many undertaking their PhD. The event provides the opportunity for networking while gaining experience with event management and organisation.
Every year, TRI based students form a committee to host this, our largest poster event, with around 80 student posters on display. In addition to poster displays, students have the opportunity to deliver a short talk to practice presentation of their work to their peers.
EVENT REGISTRATION
The full schedule for the day will be released prior to the event, however please note a networking mixer will be held after the Symposium concludes at 5pm. To register for the full day, please visit EventBrite at the link below.

Abstract Submissions
This year, for the first time, the students have been asked to consider how their work relates to TRI's translational pathway which will encourage consideration of research work and how it relates to the community we live in.
There will be additional prizes available which will be awarded based on the focused audience of your poster. There are three audience options for you to choose from;
- science to science
- science to business
- science to everyone.
The total prize pool for the Poster Symposium this year is $5700 with 2 new categories introducing different target audiences and the people's choice and passport prizes from previous years returning in 2016.
