Gastroenterology and Hepatology
The TRI has a strong research program into gastrointestinal and liver disease in collaboration with clinicians at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and other partners such as the Mater Medical Research Institute/Mater Hospital.
This research program brings together researchers, scientists and clinicians to better understand the pathophysiology of a range of gastrointestinal and liver diseases aiming to prevent or more effectively treat highly prevalent disorders of the digestive tract.
Find out more about these research programs below, which are being undertaken in collaboration with associated investigators from the Princess Alexandra Hospital and other partners such as the Mater Medical Research Institute/Mater Hospital.
