ASMR Queensland Health & Medical Research Awards
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to apply for the ASMR Queensland Health & Medical Research Awards.
Please note that the application deadline has been extended until Monday, 8th of May (midnight). Late submissions will not be accepted.
These prestigious awards recognize excellence in all areas of health-related research performed in Queensland.
There are four categories of awards:
· Post-graduate Student Award
· Post-doctoral Research Award
· Senior Researcher Award
· Clinical Research Award
Applications are open now for the Post-doctoral, Senior and Clinical Research Awards, via (https://asmr.org.au/asmr-mrw/queensland/ ). Finalists for each award category will be required to give an oral presentation. Finalists for the Post-doctoral, Senior and Clinical Researcher Awards will present at a special seminar to be held at The Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation. (Friday May 26th 2017).
Applications for the Post-graduate Student Awards are open, via registration for the Post-graduate student conference. Finalists for the Post-graduate Student Award will present at the Post-graduate Student Conference, to be held at the Translational Research Institute (31st May 2017)

Presentations to the finalists and winners of all award categories will be made during the ASMR Medical Research Week® Gala Dinner on Friday 2nd June 2017 at Pullman Brisbane King George Square.
The prestigious ASMR Queensland Health & Medical Research Awards aims to encourage Queensland’s researchers to promote their important contributions to health and medical research and gain national recognition for the work being carried out. Post-graduate students will have an additional opportunity to display their research findings through oral or poster presentations at the Post-graduate Student Conference, as well as participating in discussion on current topics in health and medical research and network with other graduate students working in similar fields.
