An extra six million journeys will be made during the Games period.

TRI & PAH major impacts
- Dutton Park Station will be closed and the Beenleigh and Ferny Grove lines will stop at Park Road station instead and be replaced by buses
- Beenleigh line will be replaced by buses from Thursday 5 to Sunday 15 April
- If you travel along the M1/M3 (between Brisbane and the Gold Coast) or on Old Cleveland Rd, prepare for significant delays. Allow for extra travel time.
- M1 speed reductions are now in place between the Eight Mile Plains interchange and Smith Street (Exit 66) on the Pacific Motorway. The 110km/h speed limit has dropped to 100km/h and the 100km/h has dropped to 90km/h.
- From 5-15 April 2018, buses will service Beenleigh line stations with connections to the Gold Coast line train at Yeronga, Coopers Plains, Altandi, Woodridge, Loganlea & Beenleigh
